Sized Computer Cabinet with upper glass doors.

This picture shows a complete computer station and display cabinet with glass doors, glass shelves and internal lighting. This is not a fully fitted cabinet although it has been sized to fit the alcove completely.
The differences between 'fully fitted' and 'sized' (or 'freestanding') furniture are that the skirting boards are not removed and run around and behind 'sized' furniture, there are also slight gaps up the sides of 'sized' cabinets. For 'fully fitted' furniture the skirting boards would be removed and replaced and the cabinet would touch the wall at all points up the sides with no gaps. Fully fitted furniture takes extra time and requires expertise and is thus more expensive. Sized furniture can be made completely in the workshop and simply delivered, this is therefore cheaper.

Regarding this cabinet the computer itself is inside the lower cabinet, there is a sliding shelf for the keyboard and printer and a hole in the counter top for cables. There is a simple cornice and a recessed kicker board. The lights are operated by a small switch at the side.
The computer desk has been finished in a wax woodstain and over sprayed with a matt varnish. The knobs are finished in the same way.
