This glazed display cabinet
with presses is built into a shallow alcove of only six
to seven inches deep. There is also a two inch thick worktop
which is made from Iroko, a related hardwood but a cheaper
timber to Teak. The majority of the timber used was Scandinavian
Red Wood (a type of Pine)
The upper cabinet has bevelled glass doors, adjustable
wood shelves and internal lighting. The cabinet lighting
was to be wired to a wall switch. The upper and lower
doors have all been mounted using traditional butt hinges.
The display case has been spray painted in a off white
colour. |

1,400mm wide, 340mm deep base, 185mm deep upper and 2,150mm
tall, worktop height approx 820mm.
