Pine chest with dovetailed drawers, unfinished.
The chest below features
inset drawers with wide mouldings surrounding the perimeter
of the drawerfronts. The drawers are graduated with larger
drawers at the bottom and smaller drawers towards the
top. Handcrafted dovetails joints are used in the drawers
for strength and beauty. Dovetail joints have long been
known for their strength and are very suitable for drawer
construction. The chest below stands on an overlaid plinth.
This chest has been hand painted using Farrow and Ball
'New White'. The top is unfinished in the picture, it
could be finished using oils, paints or lacquers.
