Solid wood custom kitchens, fitted and freestanding,
hand painted finish.
Hand painted solid wood kitchen, freestanding, with
island unit.
The freestanding kitchen
below is solid timber throughout, with hand painted Shaker
style doors and contrasting Oak coloured knobs. Framed
doors have been used throughout this kitchen, with Oak
hardwood worktops, matching knobs and a double ceramic
sink.
The sink is a double bowl 'Villeroy & Boch' Belfast
type sink, with nicely curved taps with two ceramic handles.
The sink is mounted with the front edge showing and it
protrudes slightly from the cabinet.
The island is very attractive, with a combination of closed
cabinets, dovetailed drawers and open shelves. The shelves
are slatted rather than solid, this is commonly done on
this type of unit. The side of the island we can't see
has four doors and four drawers above. The blank ends
of the island have been finished using a Tongue and Groove
effect. This kitchen is freestanding rather than fitted,
with the cabinets simply placed into position and each
has its own worktops.

There is a very tall larder
unit with upper spindly doors, the spindles have been
finished in an Oak colour to match the Oak used elsewhere.
The interior of the larder cupboard has shelves on the
back of the doors and more shelves inside, all giving
a massive amount of storage space. There is a lot of storage
space, in both base and wall cabinets, including glass
doored wall cabinets.
The worktops are solid Oak on the island and black granite
elsewhere, with matching granite upstands at the back.
The kitchen has been hand painted using Farrow and Ball
'Pointing'. The Oak worktops have been oiled.
