Kitchen larder unit with framed doors, and fridge style
shelves on doors.
The larder unit below is
generously sized. It has four separate areas for storage
behind each of the doors, these have shelves. There are
also timber shelves mounted on the backs of the doors
themselves, similar to a fridge. These can be very useful
as the items contained are very visible, the use of shelves
on the doors also increases the overall available space
hugely.
The doors are in a Shaker style, with a simple central
flat panel, these are hung on traditional butt hinges.
The round wooden knobs have been centered towards the
middle of the cabinet. The larder unit stands on an overlaid
skirting board and is topped by a simple cornice. The
cabinet has been painted using Farrow & Ball 'Pointing'.

wide (32" to 51") and 500mm to 620mm deep (20"
