A modern kitchen should be a
joy to use, attractive and yet functional. Here we hope
we have created a kitchen that is exactly that, with its
combination of hand crafted solid wood cabinets, lovingly
hand painted, and modern appliances and conveniences.
A natural worktop completes the look.
The low profile hob has been inset into the worktop, just
above the integrated oven. As the oven is a single Bosch
oven there is room below for a small drawer which is like
a pull out tray with raised sides, useful for storing
baking trays and the like.
To the right of the open shelves is a very popular style
of base cabinet... one with two doors and a small drawer
above, this is especially pleasing with framed doors.
A re-circulating extractor has been wall mounted next
to a small single door cabinet, which is topped by an
attractive cornice.

The Iroko worktop with matching
upstands has been cut around a pillar in the room, below
this we have included open shelves. Open shelves, which
are often slightly recessed, can be an option especially
in situations like this, when the space available in front
of the pillar is limited .
The kitchen has been hand painted using Farrow and Ball
'Shaded White'. The worktops, upstands and shelves have
been oiled.
